Q. How does the process work in purchasing Life insurance through Easylifeterm?

A. Depending on which product you choose Simple Issue (non medical) or a Fully Underwritten product (medical exam required), fill out the form and “click” send.


Q. Will I need to pay for a physical if I choose a medical exam?

A. NO, the insurance company’s pays for the mini exam. It takes about 15- 20 minutes to complete the mini exam.


Q. How soon will I know when I am covered?

A. With the Fully Underwritten (medical exam) product, takes an average of two weeks to thirty days. With the Simple Issue (no exam), you can be covered in hours.


Q. Do I need to meet with an insurance professional?

A. No, all transactions will take place on the phone. You will receive your insurance agents phone number, when the agent contacts you.


Q. Can I receive cash value with my term life policy?

A. There is no cash value when you purchase a term life product, but there is a rider called “Return of Premium.” If you choose to purchase this rider with your life policy, you will receive every dime back at the end of the term period providing you are still living.


Q. When can I expect to receive my life insurance policy?

A. With the medical exam product, as soon as the insurance company mails the policy to our head office, it will be in the mail to you. Once your policy is issued; it only takes a few days. With the non-medical product, the insurance company will mail it to you directly as soon as it is issued.


Q. Can I cancel my insurance policy?

A. Yes, it is a binding contract between you and the insurance company. You can cancel the policy at any time. In many states, once you purchase an insurance product, you are given a “FREE LOOK PERIOD.” This “Free Look Period,” can span between 10 days and 30 days, depending in which state you live in.


Q. Can I buy more insurance later on?

A. Yes, but remember that your premium is based on many variables such as, you age, health, how much insurance you are applying for etc. . . .


Q. Can I determine who in my family will receive the benefits if I pass?

A. Yes, remember that it is always a very good idea to have a will.


Q. Should I purchase Life Insurance from an agent even though I have it through work?

A. Yes, when you lose your job, your position in the company that you are working for, you usually are not allowed to take your benefits with you. Let’s say that you have worked for ABC Company for ten years. Ten years ago, you where offered an insurance life policy for $25.00 a month, it gives your family $100,000 in case of your death. Now, you go and apply for that same policy but it is twice as much because, you are older, you might have developed diabetes. Yes, there are many people who now wish that they had gone ahead and purchased an outside life policy when they were healthier and younger.
